The pool that started it
Tilt started as one pool.
It ran on spreadsheets, PDFs, faxes and phone calls. The rules were fun, not conventional, and players got the pool in one message from the host. The hard part was everything after: locking picks on time, grading without mistakes, posting standings before anyone asked, and answering “did my pick go through?” forty times a week.

How it's built
Tilt is built and run by one person, a commissioner, like you.
A small set of founding pools shapes every release. We love feedback. If something’s wrong on a Sunday, the person who built it is the one fixing it.
Who it's for
Tilt is for the person who runs the pool. Not the player, not the league: the commissioner. The pool host.

What Tilt doesn't do
Tilt never touches the money.
Entry fees, payouts, and the pot stay exactly where they’ve always been: with the commissioner. Tilt takes no cut, holds no funds, and processes no payments. It is not a betting product and does not operate as one. Tilt is the software layer for a pool you already run.
